We are OPEN - but classes cancelled this week

We are very grateful to have power! We are open our regularly scheduled hours, but have cancelled classes for this week. We have reworked the schedule and will be calling you if you were signed up for a class that was cancelled either before or after Ike blew through!

We will also be reposting the new schedule hopefully soon.

We have power!

Twisted Yarns has power! We will be open beginning Thursday, September 18th, at 10:00 a.m. We hope all of you are safe and sound, and getting life a bit back to normal after the storm. The Make a Difference night is still postponed, and we will have the new date for you very soon. We hope to see you all at the shop!

Make a Difference Night - POSTPONED

Due to loss of electricity in the Hurricane Ike aftermath, "Make a Difference Night" scheduled originally for the evening of Thursday, September 18 has been canceled.

We will do our best to keep you posted here on the blog, so be sure to check back for news and updates.

Hurricane Ike aftermath

Hello everyone! We hope that everyone is safe and sound. The shop is fine, we are very thankful. We will, however, be closed until further notice. We will re-open once power is restored. We have no idea how long that will be, but will post a blog and will send an e-mail out once we have power and phone. Hopefully all of you will be able to receive the e-mail and read the blog! This is a difficult time for all of us, and hopefully things will get back to normal some time soon.
Please take care and be careful! We hope to see you all soon. Keep knitting on that stash, you'll be able to replenish soon! :)

Hurricane Ike update

We wanted to let all of you know that we will be closed on Friday and Saturday, the 12th and 13th. In addition, we may close early today if it looks like traffic is getting worse. You might want to call before heading our way! If we have power and things are back to normal, we will re-open on Tuesday, September 16th at 10:00.
