We have unveiled our newest shawl knit-along (KAL) for February! This KAL is hosted by Lisa Greenburg on Thursday afternoons and has been incredibly popular. Each month Lisa selects a new shawl pattern -- something unique, fashionable and wearable -- with features designed to challenge you to achieve new skills in your knitting. For February, she's chosen The Peacock's Tale shawl. If you're an experienced (intermediate to advanced) and adventurous knitter who would like to meet regularly with others who are working on the same project, we'd love to have you! To join the KAL, please sign up at the shop or call us to reserve your spot and we'll take payment over the phone. Deadline to register is Wednesday, February 3. The cost to join the KAL is $30 and we meet 3 times in February with a 4th day as a bonus this month.
Week 1 - Thursday, February 4, 2016 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (swatch and cast on)
Week 2 - Thursday, February 11, 2016 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Week 3 - Thursday, February 18, 2016 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Week 4 - Thursday, February 25, 2016 - An earlier meeting time to be determined
You can purchase the pattern at Twisted Yarns or via Ravelry. To get the most out of your learning experience, we suggest using a lace weight yarn -- our yarn suggestions are below -- or let us help you choose a yarn. When you purchase yarn for the KAL, you will receive a 10% discount on the yarn.
For the Thursday shawl KAL, we reserve a time just for you and your fellow students, a location (the front table at the shop) and a dedicated instructor.
