Simple Knitted Tee class

We have a new class beginning next Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.  The Churchmouse Yarn Simple Tee project is taught by Alisa, who's an experienced and prolific garment knitter. You'll learn how to knit a simple and flattering shape with sport weight yarn. You'll learn a little bit of shaping as well as how to seam your tee. If you've never knit a sweater before, this is a great one to start with. Class sessions are scheduled for:

1 - Wednesday, October 12, 2016 -- 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
2 - Wednesday, October 26, 2016 -- 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
3 - Wednesday, November 16, 2016 -- 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Market Weekend Sale

The semi-annual TNNA Market is taking place in Washington, DC this weekend and while we will not be attending, we've been meeting with yarn company reps and choosing yarn for the upcoming season. Shibui Knits - Rain - 100% Mercerized Cotton in a DK-weight. This is an ideal cotton for our part of Texas and it pairs beautifully with Silk Cloud to create a stunning scarf or wrap. Twisted Yarns has most of the colors in stock as well as hard copies of the patterns for Nova, Meridian, and Equinox.
